Best hair transplant in Hyderabad: how to actually judge

Nobody can honestly call themselves the best. Here is the framework for deciding it yourself.

Written and clinically reviewed by Dr. G. Revanth, MBBS DDVL DNB · August 2026 · 3 min read

No clinic can honestly claim to be the best, and Indian medical advertising rules discourage the claim for good reason. What you can assess is verifiable: who performs each surgical step, how many cases run in parallel, whether decline criteria are published, and whether the follow-up schedule exists in writing before you pay.

Why the superlative is meaningless

Every clinic in the city can show excellent results. A gallery is a selection, and selection is the point of a gallery. What it cannot tell you is the median outcome, how many cases needed revision, or who was holding the punch in the photographs you are looking at.

Five things you can actually verify

1. The delegation table

Ask which of the six surgical steps the surgeon performs personally, and ask for it in writing. In a large share of clinics, technicians extract and implant every graft. It is legal in practice and almost never disclosed, and it is why two clinics quoting the same graft count deliver different results.

2. Cases per day

Ask to see the operating list for the day of your surgery. A surgeon supervising four theatres is supervising none of them properly.

3. The donor number

Ask for your donor density in follicular units per square centimetre, counted under magnification. A plan quoted without one is a plan quoted without knowing whether it is possible.

4. The refusal rate

Ask when the clinic last declined someone and why. A clinic that has never said no has never told anyone the truth about their donor area.

5. The follow-up schedule

Ask whether the review dates are booked into the file before the surgery. Month three is the hardest month and it is the month clinics stop answering. A date already in the diary is a different commitment from a promise.

Where we are, and what we publish

Dr. Revanth's Hair Clinic is on Road No. 12, Banjara Hills, a few minutes from Jubilee Hills, Somajiguda and Begumpet, and reachable from Gachibowli, Madhapur and HITEC City. Dr. G. Revanth (MBBS, DDVL, DNB) performs every surgical step personally and the clinic runs one major case per operating day.

The theatre is open to inspection on any working day, without an appointment. Ask to see the graft storage protocol and the sterilisation log while you are there — and ask the same of everyone else on your shortlist.

Questions people ask about this

Which is the best hair transplant clinic in Hyderabad?

No clinic can answer that honestly about itself, and Indian medical advertising rules discourage the claim. Judge on what is verifiable: who performs each surgical step, how many cases run in parallel that day, whether decline criteria are published, and whether your follow-up dates exist in writing before you pay.

Where is Dr. Revanth's Hair Clinic in Hyderabad?

4th floor, House No. 8-2-686/7/9/1, Road No. 12, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad 500034, next to Brinnova Rehabilitation Centre. Open Wednesday to Saturday 09:00 to 20:00 and Sunday 11:00 to 14:30, closed Monday and Tuesday.

Do I need an appointment to visit a hair transplant clinic?

Not here. You can walk in on any working day and ask to see the operating theatre, the graft storage protocol, the sterilisation log and the day's operating list. A clinic that will not show you the room it intends to operate on you in is telling you something.
