Dr. Revanth's Hair Clinic
Call Book assessment

Every speciality,
one pair of hands.

Signature techniques, surgical techniques, regenerative protocols and facial hair restoration, all handled in-house at Banjara Hills, each with its own protocol, and every one of them performed personally by Dr. G. Revanth rather than delegated to whoever is free that afternoon.

What we are known for.

The two techniques most clinics in this city will not attempt, because both are slower and neither can be delegated.

Long Hair Transplant

Grafts harvested and implanted with full length preserved. No shaving of the donor or recipient site.

Female Hair Transplant

Designed for women. Diffuse thinning, frontal density and hairline redesign, without shaving.

Extraction technique.

How the graft is taken out and put back. Everything else is downstream of these two decisions.

FUE Hair Transplant

Follicular Unit Extraction. Individual grafts harvested under high magnification, scarless results.

Surgical · 04

Bio-FUE Hair Transplant

FUE enriched with growth-factor protocols during implantation for stronger graft uptake.

Non-surgical protocols.

Used to slow thinning, strengthen existing hair, and support transplanted grafts. An adjunct to surgery or an alternative to it, never a substitute for a diagnosis.

Separated plasma, prepared in the room
Regenerative · 05

PRP Therapy

Platelet-Rich Plasma. Autologous injections to slow thinning and strengthen existing hair.

Regenerative · 06

GFC Therapy

Growth Factor Concentrate. A refined, higher-yield evolution of PRP for measurable thickness gains.

Regenerative · 07

Exosome Therapy

Next-generation cellular signalling, used as an adjunct to transplant and regenerative protocols.

Beard, moustache
and brow.

The technique is the same follicular unit extraction used on the scalp. The placement is not. Facial hair leaves the skin at a far more acute angle, it changes direction across a single brow, and it sits where a misplaced graft is visible in every conversation. That angle is the part nobody can correct afterwards.

Facial · 08

Beard Transplant

Density and shape built into patchy or absent beard. Grafts placed at the acute angle facial hair grows at, not the scalp's.

Estimate for this →
Facial · 09

Moustache Transplant

The philtrum and upper lip, where every graft sits in the centre of the face and a single misplaced angle is visible in conversation.

Estimate for this →
Facial · 10

Eyebrow Transplant

Brow reconstruction after over-plucking, scarring, alopecia or thyroid loss. Single hairs, laid almost flat to the skin.

Dr. Revanth's Hair Clinic

Every protocol performed by Dr. Revanth, personally.

From mapping to implantation to follow-up. No technician handovers, no outsourced steps, one major case per operating day, at Road No. 12, Banjara Hills.

Which one applies
to you.

Long Hair Transplant preserves the full length of the graft, so neither the donor nor the recipient site is shaved. It is slower and more technically demanding, which is why it is not offered everywhere, and it suits a defined zone rather than very large areas.

Female Hair Transplant is planned differently: the hairline usually exists and needs density added between the hairs already there, rather than a new line drawn. Medical causes are investigated and stabilised before any surgery is scheduled.

FUE is the technique behind most first-time cases with an adequate donor. Individual follicular units are extracted under high magnification and placed at native angle. No linear donor scar.

Bio-FUE applies growth-factor protocols during implantation. We describe it as support, not insurance, and we do not attach a survival figure to it.

PRP, GFC and Exosome protocols are used to slow thinning and strengthen the hair you still have. They do not replace hair that is already gone. If your loss is early, this is often the correct first step and surgery is revisited later.

That is a revision case and it is planned around what is already there: spent donor, existing scarring, and the previous surgeon's design decisions. Start with the revision assessment rather than a first-transplant estimate.

This clinic performs seven hair restoration procedures: FUE, Bio-FUE, long hair transplant, female hair transplant, PRP, GFC and exosome therapy. All of them are performed by Dr. G. Revanth personally in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. Long hair and female transplants are the two the clinic is known for, because both are slower, neither can be delegated, and few clinics in the city attempt them.

Questions people actually ask

Do you do beard, moustache and eyebrow transplants?

Yes. All three are performed by Dr. Revanth using follicular unit extraction, with grafts taken from the permanent donor zone at the back of the scalp. The technique is shared with scalp work; the placement is not. Facial hair leaves the skin at a far more acute angle than scalp hair, and a graft placed at scalp angle points the wrong way permanently.

How long is the visible recovery after a facial hair transplant?

Seven to ten days of crusting at every graft, which cannot be concealed on a face. The transplanted shafts then shed at week three to four and the area looks much as it did before surgery until around month four. The result is assessed at month twelve.

Do transplanted eyebrows need trimming?

Yes, permanently. The follicles come from the scalp and keep scalp growth habits, so they grow past brow length and need trimming every two to four weeks for life. Anyone who finds that unacceptable is told so before booking rather than after.

What is the difference between FUE and Bio-FUE?

Bio-FUE is FUE with growth-factor protocols added: the grafts are held in a growth-factor medium before implantation and the scalp receives an adjunct at the end of the case. The surgery, the recovery and the aftercare are otherwise identical. The intention is a shorter dormant phase and emergence two to six weeks earlier, not a higher final graft count.

Can a hair transplant be done without shaving my head?

Yes. A long hair transplant preserves the full length of the graft, so neither the donor nor the recipient area is shaved and you leave looking much as you arrived. It is slower and more technically demanding than a shaved case, which is why few clinics offer it, and it suits a defined zone rather than very large areas.

Do women have hair transplants?

Yes, and female hair restoration is a distinct speciality here rather than a variation of the male procedure. Female pattern loss is usually diffuse rather than receding, so recipient sites are made between existing hairs and nothing is shaved. Almost every female case runs a medical protocol alongside the surgery, because transplanting into a scalp that is still actively thinning buys a shorter result.

Does PRP work for hair loss?

PRP thickens hair that is still present and reduces shedding. It does not create new follicles, so it cannot restore an area that is already bald. It works best as an adjunct to surgery or as an early intervention in thinning, and a course is typically four to six sessions three to four weeks apart, assessed against baseline photographs at month four to six.
